January 2017

Happy New Year!

As 2017 dawns upon us my heart is full of anticipation and excitement. I know “time” is a commodity of the earth God has entrusted to us to use wisely. The wisest use of our time is setting our hands to the furtherance of the Gospel and the expansion of His Kingdom.

Jesus and Paul knew the value of time. Jesus shares in John 5:25, “The hour is coming and now is;” and in Matthew 16:3 he rebukes the Pharisees who could not “discern the signs of the times.” Paul wrote, "when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His son….” Time has been given to us to fulfill the purposes of God’s Kingdom. Like the sons of Issachar of old, we are people of the Kingdom who "understand the times" with knowledge of what we are to do.

January is the time we set the Leadership Summit schedule for our international family. Already we have 20 Summits scheduled for this year. New doors in Cuba, Cambodia, Haiti, and Uganda are in our plans. We have committed to 7 new Bible School launches and 7 Church Plants. Our Church Plants are in areas of the world among unreached peoples. That’s exciting! The Bible School Plants are training Pastors and Leaders who do not have training available to them.

It’s time to plant and time to reap!

What great opportunity is before us to partner with our global family who labor in unreached areas of the world: places where the population of Christians is less than 1%. These ministers are training workers and church planting in areas where the population surrounding them live in great darkness under the bondage of Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam. This generation of unbelievers can only be reached by this generation of believers! That’s us!

FCF desires to plant more Bible Schools and Churches in unreached areas of the world. We have the laborers. How can we partner as senders? Just think about the new open doors in Cuba and Cambodia! These are areas we have associated with Communist rule for most of our lives. It’s time to think of these places as opportunity to harvest for the Kingdom of God and the Glory of His Name!

You can partner with FCF’s Global Strategy - START, SEND and SUSTAIN. Your support of FCF General Missions enables us to host the Leadership Summits worldwide and to Plant New Bible Schools and New Churches. You can designate “General Missions” or “Church Plants/Bible School Plants”.
